Look out Jo!

Look Out Jo! covers the most common causes of childhood accidents and creates a strong shared experience to reinforce safety messages. At the end the children meet the puppets and talk about what we need to remember to keep safe.

Each show lasts 25-30 minutes and can include:

• Home safety: In the kitchen, in the living room, playing out
• Road safety: Stop! Look! Listen! Think!, crossing at a safe place, car seat belts

Scenes can be mixed and adapted to suit the audience and can focus on seasonal topics, for example sun safety, bonfire night.

Each show can be booked separately or as part of a safety day. For example, the  home safety show for Nursery and Reception (with parents/carers invited to stay) in the morning and the road safety show for Key Stage 1 in the afternoon.

Each show can be followed by puppet making. The puppets can also visit each group, talk about the show and its safety messages, leave 'Well Done!' certificate and activity sheets and a sticker for each child at home time.
