East Ardsley puppet making

Puppet making at East Ardsley Primary School

I thoroughly enjoyed the show again! And as I expected it was a bit hit with all ages. A great fun way to address important issues.

Keelham Primary School, Denholme

The show was entertaining and informative. Thank you!

Many children brought the puppets back to school and have used them during ‘free play’ activities.

Absolutely wonderful – just right for this age group and really engaged their enthusiasm. Thank you.

Whitby Heath Primary School, Ellesmere Port

A super show enjoyed by all. The children loved investigating the puppets after the show and how they worked. The materials left for puppet making were brilliant. Thanks very much.

Hutton Rudby Primary School, Yorkshire

Well presented and adapted well for the younger children.

Very enjoyable show with a good clear message linked to being healthy.

Straight after the show a boy went over to the puppet box and pulled out a crocodile puppet. The boy who has English as a second language said “Snapper” and fed him a toy.

All of the children loved the puppet ‘Snapper’ and the interaction between Snapper, Frog and Chicken.

Cavendish Road Primary School, Manchester

Very enjoyable and educational experience. Got the message across in a simple and practical way and was pitched at (children’s) developmental level.

Douglas Valley Children’s Centre, Wigan

The children and parents have mentioned doing puppet shows at home using their new puppets. The children really enjoyed the show and they loved the puppets!

Rufford Primary School, Yeadon

All staff thought it got the safety messages across in a fun and entertaining way – past Nursery children – now turned Reception were really excited when they saw Jo’s dad! Children talked about Jo when (later) we got the Birthday cake and match out to sing to a child. They remembered how he tried to touch them. It was naughty and he could have got burnt.

Abacus Children’s Centre, Stockport

“Children enjoyed show and the puppet making afterwards. Particularly good for this time of year as children are more likely to be left to amuse themselves during the summer holiday. A really enjoyable morning. Thank you!”
